Local government steps up inspections to ensure fuel price compliance and prevent hoarding in luna.

Inspections are underway at luna's fuel stations.

According to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Luna, officials began intensified inspections of local gas stations last week to verify compliance with fuel pricing regulations and prevent the illegal stockpiling of petroleum products. The Business Permits and Licensing Office, supported by the Luna Municipal Police Station and Sangguniang Bayan Member Kyle Hannah Pinzon, conducted these checks to ensure retailers maintain transparent pricing and adequate supply levels for the public.

This initiative, directed by Mayor Gary Pinzon, serves as a regulatory measure to protect residents of Luna from unfair business practices and potential fuel shortages. By monitoring fuel stocks and price boards across the municipality, the LGU aims to uphold energy standards and maintain market stability.

Retailers are required to adhere to official pricing guidelines and ensure a consistent flow of fuel to the community. The LGU has requested full cooperation from business owners and encourages residents to report any irregularities in fuel costs or availability. These inspections represent the second round of monitoring conducted by the local government to ensure that all fuel retailers in Luna operate within the bounds of established energy laws.
