The provincial government of Pangasinan, in partnership with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Ilocos Region, launched the National ID Integrated Pangasinan E-Systems (E-Sys) on March 10. This system was created to streamline government services and ensure aid reaches citizens efficiently and directly by unifying data from multiple agencies.

The integration links Pangasinan E-Sys with National ID Authentication Services, enabling government programs to use accurate, real-time data while safeguarding beneficiaries’ identities. Lawyer Sheila De Guzman, PSA Ilocos regional director, noted that this simplifies tasks, speeds up identity verification, and reduces paperwork. The system will support health initiatives like PhilHealth’s YAKAP.

Governor Ramon Guico III emphasized that the integration eliminates duplicated efforts and enhances efficiency. To improve accessibility, Civil Registry System (CRS) offices will be established in five key locations across the province. This initiative aims to speed up the issuance of vital documents, including birth and marriage certificates. Pangasinan’s approach is presented as a model for technology-driven governance.
